Johnny Winter also played as a guitarist for many artists in the Texas and specifically the Beaumont area, these include: BURL BOYKIN whose first band: "The Rockin' Rebels", was with Ed Morgan and Johnny Winter. Burl's hit single "Let Me Come Your Way" recorded on Clover Records in 1959 with Johnny Winter became a number one song in England.
