Johnny Winter's Live at the Texas Opry House

The "Live at the Texas Opry House (Jan. 9, 1978, Houston)" is also available as "A History of the Blues" which is another "legal but non official" release . This record is edited by Thunderbolt Records - TKO Magnum Music Limited under the reference CDTB 185 . The tracklisting of this record is different and complementary from the one of the "History of the Blues" bootleg, but this is apparently the same show even if the concert dates mentioned on both records are different (informations on the backcover are also full of mistakes). Also some songs fade in and out like "Hideaway" which has about 1 mn missing in the beginning and which lasts after less than 2 mn! But anyway this is an interesting record.

- Tracks 1, 3, 4, 5 and 7 are not on the "History of the Blues" bootleg
- Only songs from tracks 1 to 5 are complete and tracks 1 to 4 are in continuous succession (with no gap and with many JW talking between tracks),
- Tracks 5 to 9 are largely uncomplete and fade in and out.
